Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH Company, is seeking a Grading Superintendent for the Austin area. You will supervise grading crews, plan operations, ensure safety, and coordinate with the Superintendent to meet schedules and quality specs.

Travel around Austin and Central Texas is required; experience with finish/grading equipment and GPS surveying helps ensure accuracy and efficiency while maintaining a strong safety focus on site procedures.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in finish or fine grade operation with an excavator, motor grader, or related equipment.
• Knowledge of surveying and exposure to GPS and robotics.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and supervise grading crews to meet safety, efficiency, and schedule goals.
• Operate rough grade, finish grade, slope work, and related excavating tasks.
• Inspect equipment before and after shifts and report needs promptly.
• Ensure grading work meets project specifications throughout the build.
• Travel around Austin and Central Texas to oversee sites and crews.
• Maintain timely paperwork and safety on the jobsite.
