Precision HR is hiring a licensed Grade 7 Special Education Teacher in Massachusetts. You will provide individualized instruction in a Grade 7 co-taught setting, manage your caseload, and ensure IEP goals are implemented effectively.

You will collaborate with general education teachers, maintain records, and communicate with families to support student success while complying with MA SPED regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts teaching license with Special Education certification in Moderate Disabilities; Severe Disabilities certification preferred.
• Eligibility to teach in Massachusetts through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
• Master's degree and SEI endorsement.
• Experience working in special education, inclusion, or substantially separate classroom settings.
• Knowledge of Massachusetts special education regulations and IEP development.
• Experience designing and delivering individualized instruction for students with disabilities.
• Ability to work a structured, full-time, Monday-Friday schedule.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with general education teachers to provide instruction in a Grade 7 co-taught classroom.
• Maintain and manage an assigned caseload of students receiving special education services.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications.
• Provide individualized instruction and support based on students' learning needs.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate student records and special education documentation.
• Communicate and collaborate with families, teachers, and school staff to support student success.
• Help ensure compliance with applicable special education regulations and requirements.
