Job summary

Match Charter Public School in Boston is seeking a High School Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This co‑teaching role involves inclusion support and managing a caseload of high school students with IEPs, based at our Brighton campus on 1001 Commonwealth Ave.

• Bachelor's degree required
• Two years of full‑time teaching experience, preferably in urban education
• Massachusetts DESE Special Education license or eligibility within a year
• Belief that all students can and will succeed
• Desire to continually improve practice through feedback
• Proven record of student success
• Ability to work well on a team and support others

Responsibilities

• Provide inclusion support and instruction in regular education classes containing IEP students; when necessary, teach separate classes
• Help manage the school’s Special Education programing including paperwork, PD, parent/student communication, testing/screening, and compliance
• Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations and provide support to help students reach them
• Participate in Match’s coaching and professional development programming
• Assist with non-instructional duties and school programming as needed
• Be a positive, collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School community
