Responsibilities

• Deliver standards-based instruction in core subjects: literacy, math, science, and social studies.
• Create a supportive, inclusive classroom culture.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners, including English learners and students with IEPs/504s.
• Utilize formative and summative assessment data to inform instruction.
• Establish routines and procedures to maintain a safe classroom.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams, specialists, and support staff to plan instruction.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and activities.
• Participate in school-based teams, professional development, and data-driven planning.
• Integrate technology to enhance teaching and student learning.
• Support social-emotional development through positive behavior strategies.
• Maintain accurate student records and complete required reports.
