• Physical Education teachers: AED and CPR certificate.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that reflect district curriculum and show written evidence of preparation; accommodate differences in students.
• Plan and use instructional strategies, activities, materials, equipment, and technology aligned to TEA guidelines.
• Assess student learning styles and adjust instructional activities accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula per IEP guidelines.
• Coordinate with staff to determine instructional goals, objectives, and methods per district requirements.
• Plan and assign work to instructional aides and volunteers and oversee completion.

Education

Bachelor’s degree from accredited university

Texas teaching certificate with endorsements or DOI waiver training

Demonstrated competency in core academic subject area
