Job summary

Princeton Independent School District in Princeton, Texas is seeking a qualified Teacher to provide students with engaging, standards-aligned learning experiences in the core academic subject area. The teacher will aim to support growth in intellectual, emotional, physical and social development.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons per the district curriculum, assessing student progress, collaborating with special education staff, and maintaining a positive classroom

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training/DOI certification waivers.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
• PE teachers: AED and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans reflecting district curriculum and accommodations for diverse learners.
• Plan and use effective instructional strategies and materials aligned with TEA guidelines and policies.
• Assess student learning styles and progress; use results to adapt instruction.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula as needed per IEPs.
• Work with staff to determine instructional goals and methods per district requirements.
• Supervise instructional aides and volunteers as assigned.
