Qualifications

  • Graduate student status for current Spring 2026 semester.
  • In good academic standing with a minimum 2.0 GPA.
  • High energy and comfort interacting with large numbers of parents and families.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a polished, professional demeanor.
  • Ability to learn detailed membership processes and explain them clearly.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to working assigned Orientation dates.
  • Comfortable using digital systems, searching databases, and entering information accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Engage at UT Austin Orientation, explain membership benefits, assist with on-site registration.
  • Support undergraduate members, maintain consistent messaging and procedures.
  • Explain membership levels, pricing, and deadlines; verify family information.
  • Troubleshoot issues like duplicate accounts or payment errors; escalate when needed.
  • Develop professional communication and transferable skills during the summer schedule.
