Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin seeks a Membership and Recruitment Student Leader to support orientation, welcome families, and manage on-site membership sign-ups. You will assist with information and payments, and help ensure families receive benefits during sessions.

Position requires a current Spring 2026 full-time student with strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to handle high-volume interactions across summer orientations (May–Aug).

Qualifications

  • Full-time student for the current Spring 2026 semester.
  • Be in good academic standing with a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA.
  • Comfortable using digital systems, searching databases, and entering information accurately.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to working assigned Orientation dates.
  • High energy and comfort interacting with large numbers of parents and families.

Responsibilities

  • Staff the Texas Parents Association table during Orientation sessions.
  • Welcome families and explain membership benefits.
  • Assist with on-site membership registration and payment.
  • Distribute benefit packets and ensure families receive correct materials.
  • Learn and explain all membership levels, pricing, benefits, and deadlines.
