Job summary

Alpha Compute is seeking a Sales Engineer to bridge AI hardware capabilities with customer business objectives. You will translate AI workloads into infrastructure configurations and communicate the value of our high-density GPUaaS solutions to engineering leaders and procurement officers.

The role requires 5–7 years in technical sales or pre-sales, deep GPU and networking knowledge, and the ability to develop compelling proposals, respond to RFIs/RFPs, and maintain strong OEM relationships.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of successful technical sales or pre-sales engineering in GPU/AI hardware or data center markets.
• Experience with or for major hardware OEMs (e.g., SuperMicro, Dell) is a strong plus.
• Deep understanding of GPUs, storage architectures, and high-performance networking.
• Ability to review BOMs for technical accuracy and viability.
• Strong communication to C-suite and engineering audiences.

Responsibilities

• Articulate the technical advantages and value of GPUaaS to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Map customer AI workloads to precise hardware configurations (e.g., NVIDIA H100/B200 clusters).
• Review and validate BOMs from OEMs and brokers for accuracy and compatibility.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities with direct customers, brokers, and suppliers.
• Model and present ROI and total cost of ownership comparisons.
