Job summary

Alpha Compute Corp. is seeking a Sales Engineer to bridge AI hardware capabilities with customer objectives. You will translate workloads into infrastructure configurations and demonstrate performance, reliability, and cost‑efficiency.

You will lead technical architecture discussions, support account executives, review BOMs, and collaborate across data center teams. A background in GPUs, networking, and enterprise sales is essential.

Qualifications

5–7 years of technical sales or pre‑sales experience in GPUaaS or AI hardware.
Deep understanding of GPUs, storage, and high‑performance networking (InfiniBand, Ethernet).
Experience reviewing and pricing BOMs from OEMs and brokers.
Active NVIDIA certifications are highly desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

Articulate the technical value of GPU‑as‑a‑Service to CTOs, ML engineers, and data center architects.
Translate client workloads into precise hardware configurations (e.g., NVIDIA H100/B200 clusters, InfiniBand).
Review BOMs for technical accuracy and compatibility with client infrastructure.
Identify and qualify new business opportunities with direct customers, brokers, and OEMs.
Model cost‑benefit and ROI to demonstrate financial advantages of Alpha Compute’s GPUaaS.
Lead technical responses to RFIs and RFPs.
Maintain and grow relationships with customer engineering leads and OEM partners.
Track market trends in AI hardware, data center cooling, and roadmaps.
Collaborate with internal data center engineering and deployment teams.
Represent Alpha Compute at industry conferences and events.
