Job summary

Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. (ESS) in Springdale, AR, is seeking a Surveying Intern to support our GPS team on real job sites.

You will learn field survey methods, data collection, and plan reading while working closely with an experienced Surveying Technician. This internship offers hands-on training in construction layout, use of Total Stations, GPS rovers, and Trimble software, with potential pathways to full-time roles within ESS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Familiarity with the surveying and construction industry; willingness to train the right candidate.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate surveying instruments.
• Calibrate GPS rovers and GPS Machine Control.
• Troubleshoot GPS Machine Control.
• Provide topographic and cross-section surveys as required.
