Turner Mining Group in Charles Town, WV is seeking an experienced GPS Dozer Operator and Team Lead to manage field crews and drive operations from the cab. You will operate CAT dozers and set up 3D Trimble GPS site models to maintain grade and schedule across mass earthwork projects.

You will lead safety briefings, coordinate daily tasks with the crew, and ensure accurate logs and production reporting using HeavyJob or related software.

Formación

• 4+ years of heavy dozer operation experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience utilizing Trimble GPS-guided systems.
• 2+ years of experience leading site crews and managing daily field workflows.
• Valid Driver's License and OSHA 10 Certification required (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Familiarity with HeavyJob or electronic daily project logging tools.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a full spectrum of CAT dozers (D3–D8) for mass excavation and grading.
• Set up Trimble GPS base stations/rovers, lay out grade stakes, verify DTMs against plans, and troubleshoot grade adjustments.
• Direct site crews, delegate daily tasks, and report progress to the Project Lead.
• Maintain daily equipment logs and track site production and hours using HeavyJob or similar tools.
• Lead daily toolbox talks and enforce zero-tolerance safety protocols around heavy machinery.
• Step in to operate auxiliary equipment (skid steers, rollers, track loaders) when needed.
