Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is hiring a Solutions Architect to drive GovTech initiatives for ISVs, helping them reimagine products on AWS with generative AI and agentic patterns. You will own technical relationships and guide architecture, security, and data foundations for regulated workloads.

You will lead deep dives, advise on compute, storage, and databases, and partner on security and governance. Travel up to 30% as needed.

Qualifications

2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
Experience across software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, networking, data & analytics.
Experience migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own the technical engagement and outcomes for a portfolio of GovTech ISV accounts, from discovery through production scale.
Lead technical deep-dives, whiteboarding sessions, and executive briefings.
Guide architectural decisions across compute, storage, networking, identity, and databases with AWS services (EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB).
Lead conversations on generative AI apps built on Bedrock, including agentic patterns and guardrails for public-sector workloads.
Partner with customers on security, data governance, and architectural decisions shaping government products.
Modernize core platforms onto AWS using containers, serverless, and managed data services for scalable AI roadmaps.
Stay current with AWS GovTech roadmap and translate into concrete customer recommendations.
