Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Solutions Architect to guide defense technology partners through complex cloud deployments and GenAI initiatives. You will map technical challenges, design full-stack AWS architectures, and ensure engagements deliver measurable mission value at scale.

You will collaborate with senior IT and business leaders, shape cloud adoption, and drive best practices across internal and external stakeholders while traveling ~30% to customer sites and partner events.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• Experience in GenAI deployments

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with Defense Tech Partners adopting AWS—from first whiteboard session to production at scale
• Design cloud architectures that solve mission problems and help partners ship GenAI and data solutions across AWS services
• Guide partner architectures, build proofs-of-concept, and deliver measurable technical value
• Mentor junior SAs and codify best practices into reusable patterns for the SA community
• Travel about 30% of the time
