Job summary

A Progressive regional CPA firm in Oregon seeks an Audit Director with State and Local Government specialization. Fast track to Partnership, and a hybrid work environment with relocation assistance.

The Director acts as liaison between partners, clients, and staff, manages multiple audits, develops staff, and leads business development while upholding GAAS, GAGAS, and Uniform Guidance standards.

Qualifications

• Approximately 10 years in public accounting with 2+ years in a senior manager role.
• Significant government auditing experience (state & local).
• CPA license required; travel to client and firm offices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client relationships throughout the year and oversee engagements.
• Lead engagement partner roles and ensure deliverables meet standards and policy.
• Provide staff training, development, and assist in business development.
• Recruitment and interviewing of Assurance/Advisory candidates as needed.
• Coordinate engagement workflow and staffing; manage billing and collections per policy.
• Represent the firm in client meetings and business development activities.
