TSABAA in Austin is seeking an Accountant III (Accounts Payable/Travel Coordinator) to manage travel accounts payable, lodging and airfare reservations, and travel reimbursements in CAPPS Financials for agency personnel.

You will classify and post financial documents in CAPPS and USAS, audit records for accuracy, and maintain expenditure and budget controls. A four-year accounting/finance degree and two years of state accounting experience are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Two (2) years of full-time state work experience in accounting or financial operations.
• Experience and education may be substituted for one another.

Responsabilités

• Serves as Travel Coordinator for the agency, managing travel accounts payable and reimbursements.
• Processes travel arrangements including lodging, airfare, and rental cars for agency personnel.
• Performs CAPPS Financials and USAS postings, audits, and reconciliations for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintains expenditure, funds, and budget records and prepares supporting documents.
