Job summary

RELX Inc. is seeking a Sales Training Analyst to help government sales teams develop and deliver compelling presentations. You will coach, refine pitch decks, and lead structured practice to connect customer needs with our solutions.

You will partner with sales leaders, review decks, run rehearsals, and provide actionable feedback to strengthen the value narrative for government customers. Strong PowerPoint skills and clear communication are essential to tailor coaching to diverse situations.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales training, sales enablement, sales coaching, presentation development, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of consultative selling and the elements of an effective customer pitch.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to turn complex information into a clear customer narrative.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic presentation development. Partner with sales representatives to develop and refine customer presentations and pitch decks, ensuring a clear narrative, relevant messaging, and a persuasive connection between customer priorities and proposed solutions.
• Facilitate pitch practice. Conduct individual and group rehearsals to help representatives improve delivery, pacing, transitions, discovery questions, objection handling, and responses to customer questions.
• Provide structured coaching. Evaluate presentations and practice sessions using an established framework, documenting strengths, opportunities for improvement, and specific actions to strengthen the pitch.
• Build government customer relevance. Coach representatives to connect their presentations to the customer’s mission, operational challenges, stakeholders, and desired outcomes.
• Strengthen value communication. Help representatives explain benefits, supporting evidence, and competitive differentiators clearly and credibly.
• Support presentation readiness. Coordinate follow-up practice and deck revisions to ensure representatives address feedback before customer meetings.
• Collaborate across teams. Work with sales leaders, sales enablement, subject matter experts, and other partners to align coaching with sales strategy and approved messaging.
• Identify recurring development needs. Track common coaching themes and recommend improvements to training materials, presentation resources, and practice activities.
• Maintain useful resources. Organize coaching notes, presentation examples, and best practices that help the sales organization improve consistently.
