Job summary

Bowhead seeks a Recruiter to join our government services group in Springfield, VA. You will support the mission by recruiting for technical and non-technical roles, managing 15-20 active requisitions, and partnering with hiring managers to craft compelling descriptions.

Responsibilities include sourcing candidates through ATS, job boards, referrals, and events, screening for fit, scheduling interviews, and negotiating offers. 2–5 years of full lifecycle recruiting is expected.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of recent full life cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Ability to develop strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to cold call and build a network of candidates.

Responsibilities

• Manage a workload of 15-20 active requisitions.
• Partner with hiring managers to craft job descriptions and screening criteria.
• Source active and passive candidates via ATS, job boards, referrals and events.
• Screen candidates for fit and skills.
• Schedule interviews and assist hiring managers in decision processes.
• Negotiate offers and prepare letters; follow up to close candidates.
• Participate in proposal recruiting, contract transitions, events, and process improvements.
