RELX INC in the United States is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex government-focused initiatives within the PMO. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams across engineering, product management, testing, operations, and legal to ensure on‑time delivery and contract compliance.

The role requires 5+ years of project management experience, strong organizational skills, and excellent stakeholder communication in fast‑moving environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management, PMO, or equivalent delivery experience.
• Experience leading customer‑facing projects within complex, cross‑functional environments.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and project execution skills.
• Experience working within Agile, hybrid, or structured project delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex customer engagements and project initiatives across cross‑functional teams.
• Drive project planning, milestone management, dependency tracking, issue resolution, and delivery execution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build and maintain project schedules, action logs, risk registers, governance documentation, and executive‑ready status reporting artifacts.
• Drive cross‑functional execution and alignment across Engineering, Product Management, Testing, Operations, Legal, Sales, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Lead customer communications, governance discussions, delivery reviews, and project status meetings.
• Manage stakeholder expectations through proactive communication, issue escalation, and consistent follow‑through.
• Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies proactively while driving accountability and resolution across teams.
• Lead scope management and change control efforts while ensuring alignment to contractual obligations and business objectives.
• Communicate project health, delivery status, risks, financial impacts, dependencies, and key decisions to leadership and customer stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with organizational, contractual, and regulatory requirements throughout all project phases.
• Drive operational improvements and contribute to PMO delivery best practices and process optimization efforts.
• Operate effectively in fast‑moving environments where priorities, timelines, and requirements may evolve.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field

PMP certification (preferred)
