Job summary

RELX is seeking a Program Manager to lead a team of Project Managers and Analysts across the product development lifecycle. You will drive a portfolio of moderate to complex projects, coordinating with Market Vertical, Product Management, Engineering, Testing, Legal, and other groups to align roadmaps and schedules.

You will guide project governance, manage multiple priorities, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery while leveraging SDLC and Agile practices.

Qualifications

10+ years of IT PMO experience
2+ years of management experience
Bachelor’s degree in technology, finance, business, or equivalent experience required
Project governance certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.) required

Responsibilities

Represent Engineering Project Management in cross-functional teams and act as SME in portfolio.
Oversee Project Managers with moderate to complex projects.
Manage staff ideas to foster process improvements and innovations.
Empower staff to be accountable for their actions and decisions.
Manage highly complex projects and a subset of moderate projects each year.
Review and request resource allocation for projects and programs.
Communicate capacity and demand impacts to stakeholders.
Define KPIs and create regular variance reports for progress tracking.
Negotiate with resource managers for project resources.
Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and laws.
Conduct data analysis relevant to project tasks.
Hire, train, and develop staff; provide frequent feedback and coaching.
