Job summary

Jobtailor in Fairfax, VA is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead DoD and government-related development and integration of off-grid networking technology. You will partner with peers and government customers to drive mission impact and ensure delivery against contract requirements.

You will develop detailed work plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks, draft contracts, and communicate roadmaps and status to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Five (5) + years of technical program management experience with contracts.
• Experience supporting DoD, DHS, CBP, Air Force, SOCOM, or other Federal agencies.
• Experience managing government programs and customer relationships.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments across large organizations.
• Proficient in scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, and risk management.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute strategic development and integration of off-grid networking technology with government customers.
• Develop, track, and analyze detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams through planning, execution, risk management, and customer engagement.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards for program deliverables and government contract requirements.
• Coordinate meetings, test events, and demonstrations to showcase technical capabilities to customer audiences.
• Lead contractual agreement drafting with partners and vendors related to program delivery.
• Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables.
• Identify program risks, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
• Develop and communicate multiple program roadmaps internally and diligently update internal data systems.
