Job summary

Ardent Eagle Solutions is seeking a Program Analyst to support the Department of Commerce OCIO, Office of Compliance and Oversight. The role focuses on business analysis, requirements development, and process improvement to align IT investments with agency objectives.

The successful candidate will translate stakeholder needs into actionable requirements, monitor performance, and contribute to governance activities while coordinating with government and contractor teams in the Washington, DC area.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant professional experience in program management, business analysis, systems analysis, or related consulting.
• Experience analyzing business processes and documenting functional requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Department of Commerce suitability determination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements to increase operational efficiency.
• Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical requirements for implementation teams.
• Support business process analysis, system design, implementation, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Review program budgets, schedules, resource allocations, and project documentation to identify risks and resource constraints.
• Assist Government stakeholders in gathering, documenting, and validating business and system requirements.
• Participate in requirements analysis sessions and provide recommendations supporting program objectives.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential issues, risks, and corrective actions.Review software, system integration, and testing activities to ensure solutions align with business requirements.
• Research policies, regulations, and technical documentation to support program initiatives.
• Prepare reports, briefings, and other analytical products supporting Government leadership.
• Contribute to weekly and monthly program reporting as required.
