Job summary

Empower AI is seeking a Transition Specialist to support the Department of State in its PMO. You will ensure staff and deliverables transition, coordinate with government representatives, and maintain tools and processes for tracking transition projects.

The role requires 5+ years of PMO experience, a Bachelor's in IT or related field, and a Secret Security Clearance. Preference for CAPM/PMP, ITIL 4 Foundation, and CompTIA Sec+ certifications. This is a full-time, on-site position based in DC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in program management or PMO environments.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
• Secret Security Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide multi-disciplinary program management services to support the overall program and product teams.
• Maintain and support common tools and processes to track and manage transition projects.
• Coordinate with Government representatives for project execution and documentation.
• Facilitate collaboration between incoming and outgoing staff to align timelines and priorities.
• Develop and complete Transition In and Transition Out plans, reporting to the Transition Manager.
