Job summary

Strategic Operations Solutions, Inc is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee IT-focused, multi-disciplinary contract performance for a DoD-adjacent military customer. The PM will lead planning, execution, and transition activities, ensuring timely deliverables and adherence to SLA commitments.

The role requires deep experience with government contracts, cybersecurity requirements, and coordination with government stakeholders to address emerging risks and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; or 15 years of relevant PM experience in lieu of degree.
• 10+ years leading multidisciplinary teams in IT/contracting environments.
• Experience managing IT support, helpdesk, and web development contracts.
• Familiarity with Army/DoD policies, cybersecurity and IA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of contract performance and ensure compliance with the PWS.
• Serve as primary government point of contact for contract execution.
• Manage resources, schedules and deliverables to meet contract objectives.
• Lead development/implementation of the Project Management Plan (PMP) and Transition Plans.
• Ensure timely submission of deliverables including monthly progress reports and SLA compliance.
• Coordinate with Government Lead and COR to address issues/risks and conduct regular performance reviews.
