Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector is recruiting for a Network Support Technician (NST) to support ICE OCIO program in Brunswick, GA. This onsite role requires frequent presence on location and focuses on Tier 2 IT help desk support across LANs, devices, servers, storage, and network infrastructure.

The NST will work under ITFO guidance, perform preventive maintenance, patching, and health checks, and participate in after-hours on-call rotations as needed to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in LAN administration and network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ITSM processes and ServiceNow.
• Proficient with server configurations, backups, and patching.
• Ability to install and maintain network devices and peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Provide LAN administrator support for installation, configuration and maintenance of network devices, servers, and storage.
• Support networked devices such as computers, printers, biometric devices, x-ray machines and sensors.
• Support mobile and wireless devices including smartphones and tablets.
• Test and maintain server configurations and security patches.
• Maintain system health and backups with restore testing.
• Monitor ServiceNow assignments and resolve tickets.
• Provide regular activity reports and inventory updates.
• Deploy new equipment and support after-hours on-call rotations.
• Perform data center cabling and wiring in LAN rooms and closets.
• Contribute to technical discussions and draft briefing materials for customer needs.
• Identify and address changes in existing systems and participate in design of new IT systems.
