Job summary

Rea is seeking a Supervisor – Government to oversee the preparation of financial statements for government entities, ensuring regulatory compliance and accuracy. This role leads the preparation process, applies accounting principles, and supervises a team of preparers.

You will apply GAAP/GAAS/GAGAS/UG knowledge, supervise staff, communicate effectively with clients and management, and contribute to a strong control environment and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in accounting or equivalent required.
• Four (4) or more years of public accounting experience.
• Licensed CPA or international equivalent preferred.
• Supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and review the audit process and procedures to be performed.
• Monitor engagement progress, time vs. budget with senior oversight.
• Manage client relationships and expectations per project.
• Provide timely advisory to clients.
