Job summary

Oregon Freeze Dry in Albany, Oregon, is seeking a Government Contracts Manager to serve as OFD’s subject-matter expert for contract compliance and to support bids and proposals. The role focuses on DoD business while supporting other federal, state, and local government requirements.

You will develop strategies, review contracts, interpret terms, advise leadership, and ensure company-wide compliance with FAR/DFARS, cybersecurity, and related regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Contracts Management, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field.
• Six years of government contracting and compliance experience.
• Four years of experience leading and managing teams.
• Experience administering federal government contracts, subcontracts, and flow-down requirements.
• DAWIA/Defense certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and government acquisition regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and administer government contracts to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
• Review solicitations, contracts, subcontracts, modifications, and related agreements.
• Advise leadership on contract requirements, regulatory obligations, and business risks.
• Support government proposals, contract actions, audits, and disputes in coordination with leadership and legal counsel.
• Maintain audit readiness and ensure company-wide compliance with government contracts.
