Job summary

Oregon Freeze Dry in Albany, Oregon is seeking a Buyer II to procure raw materials, packaging, and indirect materials to keep production flowing safely and cost-effectively.

You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms, release PO's in the ERP, monitor inventory, and partner with planning, QA, and engineering to solve supply challenges.

This full-time role requires 3+ years in purchasing, a Bachelor's in Supply Chain or related field, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Procure raw materials, packaging, and indirect materials to support production schedules.
• Create, release, and manage purchase orders through the ERP system for timely replenishment.
• Monitor inventory levels, demand forecasts, supplier lead times, and consumption trends to maintain availability.
