Job summary

Oregon Freeze Dry is seeking a Government Contracts Manager to serve as the primary subject-matter expert on government contract compliance. The role interprets regulatory requirements, manages company-wide compliance activities, and supports bids and proposals, with a focus on Department of War work and other federal/state requirements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in government contracting and compliance
• 4+ years leading and managing teams
• Experience administering federal contracts, subcontracts, and flow-downs
• DoD/DoD-related contract experience preferred
• DAWIA/CPCM/CFCM/CCCM or equivalent certifications preferred
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and related regulations
• Experience with cybersecurity requirements (CMMC/NIST SP 800-171)
• Ability to interpret requirements and provide practical guidance
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as OFD’s subject-matter expert for government contract compliance.
• Review and interpret government solicitations, contracts, and amendments for compliance and risk.
• Advise leadership on contract requirements, negotiations, and regulatory obligations.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, SAM registrations, and contract records.
• Lead company-wide compliance with cybersecurity, ethics, and labor requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to implement contractual requirements and support reviews.
• Monitor regulatory changes and develop corrective actions and internal controls.
• Support government proposals, audits, and disputes in coordination with leadership and legal counsel.
• Maintain attendance and professional conduct aligned with company policies.
