Molex is seeking a Contracts Manager for Government Contracts (DOD) to oversee contract administration and proposal development across aerospace and defense programs. You will lead pre- and post-award activities, ensure FAR/DFARS/ITAR compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risk and drive profitable performance.

Ideal candidates have a background in government contracting, strong negotiation skills, and a track record of drafting complex agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• 5+ years of experience in U.S. Government contracting (FAR/DFARS).
• Demonstrated experience negotiating terms, developing complex proposals, and drafting contracts supporting US Government contracts.

Responsabilités

• Review, draft, and negotiate complex contractual documents for US government contracts.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR and other federal acquisition requirements.
• Lead pre-award and post-award contracting activities for government contracts to ensure compliance and profitability.
• Support capture and proposal efforts: compliance matrices, cost estimating, and contract terms evaluation.
• Lead responses to inquiries, audits, investigations, and disputes; support settlements and claims.
• Share knowledge with program managers and staff on contract obligations and change control.
• Maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders; improve contracting processes.
