Nelson Mullins is seeking a Mid-Level Government Contracts Associate to join its Corporate group in the Baltimore, Maryland office. This position offers an opportunity to be part of an expanding, fast-paced practice providing a range of corporate services to diverse clients.
Our Baltimore attorneys deliver strategic advice in transactional matters, intellectual property, business disputes, general corporate law, litigation strategy, and more, serving both local and national clients. We seek a skilled mid-level associate with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in government contracts. The ideal candidate will have expertise in federal and state bid protests (including GAO, COFC, and agency forums), claims under the Contract Disputes Act, and counseling under the FAR, DFARS, and other agency supplements. Responsibilities include legal research, drafting pleadings, representing clients in protests, claims, and government litigation, and advising on government compliance matters. Experience with US Government grants and cooperative agreements is a plus. Candidates must have excellent writing and analytical skills and be in good standing with either the Maryland or DC Bar.
Compensation is transparent and equitable, with a salary range of $230,000 - $270,000 annually, based on experience and expertise.
