We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Manager to join the Audit team in our Government Contract Advisory practice.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm meaning most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

YOUR ROLE

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

  • Contract Audit and Advisory Services
  • Client Relations and Engagement Management
  • Training and Professional Development
  • Support partners and growth of the practice
Advisory & Audit
  • Perform a wide variety of federal contract audits including incurred cost, business systems (accounting, purchasing and estimating), proposal, Cost Accounting Standards/Disclosure Statement, and real-time audits, in accordance with firm standards and GAGAS.
  • Understand the DCAA contract audit manual and auditing procedures.
  • Review pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables.
  • Monitor project status and communicate schedule adjustments to senior management.
  • Review workpapers and audit reports prepared by staff.
  • Provide consulting services to government contractors on business system readiness, incurred cost submissions, indirect rate modeling, FAR, CAS, and executive compensation analysis.
  • Review work of Senior Associates.
Client Relations and Engagement Management
  • Manage engagements effectively within client time and budget expectations.
  • Utilize firm resources efficiently.
  • Handle multiple client projects simultaneously.
  • Foster teamwork and client relationships.
  • Exhibit leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide feedback and mentorship to team members.
Training and Professional Development
  • Develop technical skills and industry knowledge.
  • Participate in professional networking and training events.
  • Represent the firm professionally.
  • Participate in practice management and proposal activities.
  • Mentor staff and contribute to internal development programs.
Your Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance
  • Active CPA license
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in public accounting, consulting, or related fields such as DCAA or civilian agencies
  • Strong analytical, technical, and advisory skills
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Proficiency in FAR/CAS research and audit software
  • Experience with DFARS business systems readiness assessments
  • U.S. citizenship due to project requirements
