Job summary

Hanwha Defense USA is seeking a Senior Manager of Government & Financial Compliance in Arlington, VA. The role leads regulatory compliance for U.S. government contracts, focusing on ICPs, CAS disclosures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and CAS.

The position requires extensive experience in aerospace/defense compliance, with strong data-driven decision making and leadership to guide auditing and system readiness efforts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance / government compliance experience in the Aerospace and Defense (A&D) industry.
• Experience preparing incurred cost submissions and CAS Disclosure Statements.
• Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS, CAS, indirect rate structures, and government audits (DCAA/DCMA).
• Hands-on knowledge of the six USG Business Systems and what is required to maintain approved, compliant systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead ICP/submittals for CAS entities, including schedules and GL reconciliation.
• Develop, update CAS Disclosure Statements and cost-impact analyses.
• Lead readiness for the six USG Business Systems and testing.
• Coordinate responses to CARs and CAPs with accounting, estimating, and supply chain.
• Support Forward Pricing Rate Proposals (FPRPs) and indirect rate management.
• Liaise with DCAA, DCMA, and other audit agencies; manage audit responses.
• Coordinate with accounting for quarterly/half-year/year-end audits.
• Design, document, and test financial controls to mitigate CAS non-compliance.
