Job summary

Draper Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Government Accounting & Compliance Analyst 2 will apply your knowledge of government regulations to ensure consistency in charging practices across the company. You will interface with Internal Audit, Contracts, Procurement, and Engineering to support compliant submissions.

The role requires 3–5 years of US Federal contracting experience and a Bachelor's degree, with familiarity with FAR, CAS, and OMB regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting, finance, business, law or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of finance/accounting experience with US Federal contracting.
• Knowledge of government regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with FAR, CAS and DCAA accounting guidance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain government accounting policies and procedures compliant with Federal regulations.
• Ensure compliance through monitoring, internal reviews, testing, and compliance checks.
• Maintain CASB Disclosure Statement.
• Support development of alternative cost accounting rate structures for optimal operation.
• Provide government accounting expertise for submissions and government projects.
• Review indirect project setup forms for proper classification and compliance.
• Review labor/cost transfers for accuracy and policy adherence.
• Stay current with FAR, CAS and DCAA compliance.
• Support new tools, financial initiatives, and policy documentation.
• Develop and/or deliver compliance training as needed.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
