Job summary

Draper is seeking a Government Accounting & Compliance Analyst 2 to ensure consistency in charging practices across the company for government contracts. You will interpret regulations, prepare submissions, and monitor transactions to ensure allowability and allocability across Draper’s programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3–5 years of finance/accounting experience with US Federal contracting.
• Knowledge of FAR, CAS, and DCAA accounting compliance preferred.
• Experience with government cost accounting compliance and regulatory interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and monitor government accounting policies and procedures compliant with federal regulations.
• Monitor internal reviews, testing and compliance checks for compliance.
• Review indirect project setup forms for proper classifications and compliance with policies.
• Review labor/cost transfers for reasonableness, accuracy and policy adherence.
• Support preparation and submission of government cost-related submissions.
