Job summary

The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Inc. in Cambridge, MA seeks a Government Accounting & Compliance Analyst 2 to ensure consistency in charging practices across the company and to interpret Federal regulations for current and proposed contracts.

You will develop, implement, and maintain government accounting policies, monitor compliance, review labor/cost transfers, and support submissions, training, and guidance across internal teams including Contracts, Procurement, and Legal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Law, or related field.
• 3–5 years of finance/accounting experience with US Federal contracting.
• Experience interpreting FAR/CAS and related government regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain government accounting policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance through monitoring, internal reviews and compliance checks.
• Maintain CASB Disclosure Statement.
• Support development of government accounting rate structures and submissions.
• Review project classifications and labor/cost transfers for compliance.
• Provide compliance training and guidance across Draper teams.
• Stay current on FAR, FAR Supplements, CAS, and DCAA accounting requirements.
