Clear Concepts, Inc. is seeking an Audit Director with a State and Local Government focus in Denver. This role offers a fast track to partnership and a balanced workload within a hybrid work environment, with relocation assistance available.

The Director interfaces with Partners, clients, and staff to manage multiple audits, staff development, and new business. Travel to client sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Approximately 10 years' experience in public accounting with senior manager experience.
• Extensive public sector experience, including state and local governments.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting and a valid CPA license.
• Willingness to travel to client and firm locations.
• Experience with GAAS, GAGAS/Yellow Book, and the Uniform Guidance.

Responsabilités

• Maintain client relationships throughout the year and oversee engagements.
• Lead engagements as engagement partner or report to the partner; sign attestations.
• Oversee engagement phases and ensure deliverables meet standards and policy.
• Inform partners of developments and resolve issues with partner input.
• Schedule engagements, staff appropriately, and train staff on engagements.
• Serve as SME for governmental sector and drive staff performance reviews.
• Recruit staff and interview Assurance/Advisory candidates as needed.
• Represent the firm in business development and generate client opportunities.
• Lead initial client communications, prepare fee estimates, and attend meetings.
• Ensure billing/collection aligns with firm policy and compliance.
