Job summary

Zep Inc. in Atlanta, GA seeks a Government Sales professional to manage and grow federal accounts, federal contract vehicles, and large buying cooperatives. You will own the bid process from qualification through award, collaborating with Finance, Sales, Marketing, IT, and R&D to maximize opportunities.

This role focuses on GSA programs, NCPA/TCPN participation, pricing analytics, and monthly reporting. You will maintain CRM renewals with government customers and drive bid activity to meet

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain existing Federal Government Sales with GSA and Federal Sourcing Initiatives.
• Manage and maintain existing large buying cooperatives (NCPA, TCPN) and expand where profitable.
• Identify and pursue opportunities across Federal, Local, and State Government bids, coordinating with Finance, Sales, Marketing, IT, and R&D.
• Take ownership of the bid process for Zep Sales and Service, including Direct Sales and Distribution, to meet deadlines.
• Handle federal programs including Ability One, pricing analytics, proposal management, and monthly reporting.
• Keep CRM accurate on renewals of contracts and/or agreements with large government customers or cooperatives.
• Participate in Audit meetings as necessary and support GSA modification processes.
• Collaborate with Sales Leaders to improve process and pipeline in CRM for Bids.

Job Description

• Manage and Maintain existing Federal Government Sales with General Sales Administration (GSA) and Federal Strategic Sourcing Initiatives Contracting Officers that are profitable for Zep Sales & Service.
• Manage and Maintain existing large buying cooperatives, such as NCPA and TCPN, and expand where profitable.
• Manage, Research and qualify for appropriate opportunities for all Bids not limited to Federal, Local, and State Government including interfacing with internal and external data sources to ensure that information and data are sufficient to pursuit /no pursuit or bid no/bid decisions. Collaborating and utilizing Finance, Sales, Marketing, IT, and R&D knowledge to maximize our ability to bid and win on customer specifications.
• Take ownership of the bid process for Zep Sales and Service, including Direct Sales and Distribution channels, managing and successfully driving it to meet critical deadlines.
• Manage federal programs including Ability One. Duties will include pricing analytics, proposal management and reporting for monthly FSSI reporting, Subcontracting Plan, Monthly Usage Report, FSSI Launch Program, Sams Registrations, Quarterly Sales Government Reporting
• Keep CRM accurate on renewals of Contracts and\or Agreements with large customers managed by Government or NCPA\TCPN Buying Cooperatives
• Participate in Audit meetings as necessary
• GSA contract modification processes and documentation required for GSA Procurement offices and Bids
• Work with Sales Leaders to improve process and Pipeline as needed in CRM for Bids
