Position Overview

The Government Account Manager will be responsible for sales of the Fujifilm Healthcare Americas Corporation’s (HCUS) full portfolio (Endoscopy, Modality Solutions, and Medical Informatics) to key Federal Government medical treatment facilities, with a focus on the Department of Defense (DOD), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Indian Health Services (IHS), and select State agencies within a defined territory. The primary responsibility is to achieve or exceed defined annual budgets through strategic planning, relationship building, new account targeting, extensive product knowledge, and exceptional customer service. The role involves engaging decision makers and influencers within Radiology, Biomedical, Women’s Healthcare, and Surgery departments, including Radiologists, Directors, Biomed Chiefs, Surgeons, and Administrators. The manager will collaborate across HCUS departments to support existing and new initiatives, ensuring customer satisfaction and territory coverage.

Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Bookings and Revenue
  • Meet and exceed sales goals in the assigned geography by engaging government hospitals and facilities, focusing on HCUS portfolio products, installed base conversion, and new customer acquisition.
  • Develop and update strategic business plans for targeting key government accounts.
  • Create accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts.
  • Close sales across the portfolio within the assigned territory and account targets.
  • Expand existing business and prospect new opportunities by leveraging cross-functional teams and specialists.
  • Participate in strategic customer meetings and planning sessions to drive results.
Customer Intimacy
  • Coordinate effective communication from HCUS resources.
  • Provide market intelligence and recommendations to stakeholders to optimize customer needs and portfolio offerings.
  • Maintain effective communication between customers and internal departments to ensure satisfaction and success.
Sales Operations
  • Prepare quotes, contracts, and site configurations adhering to policies.
  • Follow established processes for quotes and bookings.
  • Use CRM tools proficiently to manage opportunities, accounts, and activities.
  • Maintain detailed records and collaborate with team members to strategize.
  • Lead and close sales opportunities within the assigned geography.
Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Ensure effective communication across departments to maximize sales success.
  • Participate in installations, implementations, and special projects.
  • Drive efforts to provide a superior customer experience.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Achieve sales quotas.
  • Collaborate to ensure positive customer experiences.
  • Follow business processes and contribute to team environment.
  • Maintain transparent communication and align with corporate values.
Other Requirements
  • Comply with FDA, ISO 13485, and other regulatory standards.
  • Pass vendor credentialing requirements.
Qualifications
Experience
  • 4+ years in selling to Federal Government accounts (preferred).
  • 4+ years in medical sales, especially Medical Imaging (preferred).
  • Proven success in strategic selling and closing sales.
  • Experience with Federal Government accounts (preferred).
Educational Requirements
  • BA/BS (preferred).
Skills and Other Requirements
  • Ability to achieve sales goals and work cross-functionally.
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Good judgment and time management skills.
Physical and Travel Requirements
  • Sit up to 75-100% of the time.
  • Use hands and fingers for manipulation.
  • Stand, talk, and hear for 75% of the time.
  • Lift up to 10 pounds as needed.
  • Travel up to 80% based on business needs.
