Position Overview

The Government Account Manager will be responsible for sales of FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation’s (HCUS) full portfolio, including Endoscopy, Modality Solutions, and Medical Informatics, to key Federal Government medical treatment facilities, with a focus on the Department of Defense (DOD), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Indian Health Services (IHS), and select State agencies within a defined territory. The primary responsibility will be to achieve or exceed annual budgets through strategic planning, relationship building, new account targeting, extensive product knowledge, and exceptional customer service. The focus will be on decision makers and influencers within Radiology, Biomedical, Women’s Healthcare, and Surgery, including Radiologists, Directors, Biomed Chiefs, Surgeons, and Administrators. The manager will collaborate across HCUS departments to support existing and new initiatives, ensuring customer satisfaction and territory coverage.

Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Bookings and Revenue
  • Meet and exceed sales goals by calling on government hospitals and facilities, focusing on HCUS portfolio products, installed base conversion, and new customer accounts.
  • Manage approximately 80% of time on equipment sales within assigned geography.
  • Develop strategic business plans for key government accounts.
  • Forecast monthly and quarterly sales accurately.
  • Close sales across the portfolio, expanding existing business and prospecting new accounts.
  • Participate in strategic customer meetings and leverage team resources for technical and clinical needs.
Customer Intimacy
  • Coordinate customer communication and market intelligence sharing.
  • Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and sales success.
Sales Operations
  • Prepare quotes, contracts, site configurations, and ensure adherence to policies.
  • Use CRM tools proficiently to manage opportunities, contacts, and reporting.
  • Lead prospecting and closing efforts within assigned geography and accounts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Ensure effective communication between departments and participate in meetings and projects.
  • Support installations and implementations, ensuring superior customer experience.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Achieve sales quotas and collaborate with service teams for positive customer experiences.
  • Follow business processes and contribute to team environment and communication.
Other
  • Comply with FDA, ISO, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Complete vendor credentialing and adhere to COVID-19 policies, including vaccination and testing as required.
Qualifications
Experience
  • 4+ years selling to Federal Government accounts (preferred).
  • 4+ years medical sales experience, especially in Medical Imaging (preferred).
  • Proven sales success and strategic selling skills.
Educational Requirements
  • BA/BS degree (preferred).
Skills and Other Requirements
  • Ability to meet sales goals, work cross-functionally, and communicate effectively.
  • Strong customer focus, judgment, and proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Time management skills and ability to travel up to 80%.
Physical Requirements
  • Sitting, using hands, standing, lifting up to 10 pounds, and seeing clearly at close range.
Travel
  • Up to 80% travel may be required based on business needs.
