Position Overview

The Government Account Manager will be responsible for sales of the Fujifilm Healthcare Americas Corporation’s (HCUS) full portfolio (Endoscopy, Modality Solutions, and Medical Informatics) to key Federal Government medical treatment facilities, focusing on the Department of Defense (DOD), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Indian Health Services (IHS), and select State agencies within a defined territory. The primary responsibility is to achieve or exceed annual budgets through strategic planning, relationship building, new account targeting, extensive product knowledge, and exceptional customer service. The focus will be on decision makers and influencers within Radiology, Biomedical, Women’s Healthcare, and Surgery, including Radiologists, Directors, Biomed Chiefs, Surgeons, and Administrators. The role involves working across HCUS business areas to support existing and new initiatives, ensuring customer satisfaction, territory coverage, and financial goals.

Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Bookings and Revenue
  • Meet/exceed sales goals by calling on government hospitals and facilities, focusing on core HCUS portfolio products, installed base conversion, and new accounts.
  • Spend 80% of time managing equipment sales within individual geography plans.
  • Develop strategic business plans for targeting key government accounts.
  • Forecast monthly and quarterly sales accurately.
  • Close all portfolio products within assigned geography and accounts.
  • Expand existing business and prospect new opportunities.
  • Participate in strategic customer meetings and leverage specialists and sales teams for technical needs.
Customer Intimacy
  • Coordinate effective customer communication and gather market intelligence.
  • Maintain communication between customer and internal departments to ensure satisfaction and success.
Sales Operations
  • Prepare quotes, contracts, and site configurations adhering to policies.
  • Follow booking processes and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Use CRM tools proficiently, maintaining pipeline and activity data.
  • Lead and qualify sales opportunities within assigned geography and accounts.
Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Maintain effective internal communication for sales success.
  • Participate in meetings and special projects.
  • Drive efforts to provide a superior customer experience.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Achieve sales quota and collaborate for positive customer experiences.
  • Follow business processes and contribute to team environment.
  • Communicate transparently internally and externally.
  • Align with corporate strategies and values.
Other
  • Comply with FDA, ISO, and other regulatory standards.
  • Complete vendor credentialing and facility access requirements.
Qualifications
Experience
  • 4+ years in selling to Federal Government accounts (preferred).
  • 4+ years in medical sales, especially Medical Imaging (preferred).
  • Proven strategic selling and closing skills.
Educational Requirements
  • BA/BS degree preferred.
Skills & Other Requirements
  • Ability to meet/exceed sales goals, work cross-functionally, and communicate effectively.
  • Strong customer focus, judgment, and proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Physical Requirements
  • Sitting, using hands, standing, lifting up to 10 lbs, and visual acuity requirements.
Travel
  • Up to 80% travel may be required.
