Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of progressive experience in public relations, executive administration, board governance, workforce development, nonprofit management, government relations, legislative affairs or related field.
• Experience working directly with executive leadership, boards of directors, elected officials, government representatives, or senior-level community stakeholders preferred.
• Experience supporting Texas Workforce Commission, Texas Open Meetings Act, government-funded programs, workforce development initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary staff liaison to the Board of Directors.
• Coordinate all Board and committee meetings and prepare agendas.
• Prepare meeting materials and maintain official Board records and archives.
• Ensure compliance with federal and Texas laws, including Open Meetings Act.
• Support committee operations and manage board communications.
• Foster relationships with board members, elected officials, and community stakeholders.
• Coordinate executive briefing materials, presentations, and reports for CEO and Board Chair.
• Coordinate governance-related meetings and communications with leadership and external partners.
