Job summary

Alamo Group, headquartered in Seguin, TX, is seeking a Sr. Director of HR focusing on Talent Management to align people strategies with business growth. This role reports to the VP of HR and partners with site HR teams to deliver results that enhance talent readiness and organizational effectiveness.

The Sr. Director will act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, workforce planning, and leadership development, driving change across multiple sites and ensuring compliance with employment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is required.
• Master’s degree in HR or MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience in a global manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws in the US, Canada, and South America.
• Experience leading HR through M&A integration and organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Align HR strategies with division objectives to support growth.
• Advise division leadership on employee relations, investigations, and policy compliance.
• Provide data-driven HR insights and strategic recommendations.
• Drive workforce planning and leadership development in coordination with Talent Management.
• Lead cross-site collaboration with COEs to improve hiring, retention and internal mobility.
• Oversee onboarding, coaching, and development of site HR managers.
