Job summary

Terrestris seeks a Junior GovCon Billing Clerk to join our Finance & Accounting team in the United States. This entry- to mid-level role supports daily AR and government contract billing operations, invoicing, and recordkeeping.

The ideal candidate reads contracts and translates terms into accurate billing, with understanding of FFP, T&M, LOE, and Milestone billing. We welcome candidates with diverse experience, including strong numeric comfort and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Billing, accounts receivable, or related field.
• Experience reading contracts to establish billing requirements.
• Experience setting up customers and contracts in ERP systems.
• Knowledge of government contract billing types (FFP, T&M, LOE, Milestone).
• Experience submitting invoices through government portals (WAWF/IPP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand government contracts, billing terms, funding, and invoicing requirements.
• Set up customers, contracts, and billing information in the ERP system.
• Prepare, process, and distribute government invoices on schedule.
• Review contracts to ensure invoices meet requirements.
• Understand billing types (FFP, T&M, LOE, Milestone) and choose methods accordingly.
• Prepare invoices for labor, travel, and other direct costs.
• Submit and track invoices through WAWF, IPP, or other portals.
• Maintain accurate AR records and assist with monthly close.
