Job summary

CrowdStrike is hiring an Identity Infrastructure Operations Engineer to maintain and enhance our GovCloud identity stack for FedRAMP Moderate/High DoD IL 4/5. You will focus on operational excellence, security, and scalable access governance for US-Gov environments.

You will partner with Engineering and IT to implement secure identity solutions, automate repetitive tasks, and support on-call federal cloud operations. A strong background in IAM and cloud security is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 8–11 years of relevant work experience in identity and access management.
• Strong proficiency in Directory Services, Group Policy, DNS, and associated technologies.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and work cross-functionally.
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills with a track record of delivering solutions.
• Experience with AI technologies to enhance decision-making and automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage identity provider operations, application lifecycle management, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering and IT to integrate solutions and ensure FedRAMP/DoD compliance.
• Implement security measures, perform security impact analyses, and adhere to government controls.
• Identify automation opportunities, build workflows, and develop monitoring/alerting tools.
• Provide tier 2/3 support and conduct root cause analyses for complex issues.
• Coordinate with IT on support requests and participate in federal cloud on-call rotations.
• Actively contribute to the IT Federal Engineering team and federal cloud initiatives.
