Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Cloud Network Architect to lead the design, integration, and evolution of secure multi-cloud networking for DoD environments. You will architect across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI, partner with cybersecurity, platform engineering, and operations, and drive standards, automation, and observability.

The role requires deep cloud networking expertise, DoD-relevant experience, and the ability to translate complex requirements into scalable, secure architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12–15 years of relevant experience
• Extensive experience designing and operating enterprise-scale network architectures
• Multi-Cloud experience across AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI across CSPs
• Advanced cloud networking knowledge (VPC/VNet, NAT, DNS, private connectivity)
• Experience with DoD environments, RMF, STIGs, and NIST controls
• Strong technical communication translating complex designs to teams and leadership
• Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain multi-cloud network architectures across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI
• Develop reusable reference architectures and design patterns
• Architect secure cross-cloud connectivity between cloud environments and DoD networks
• Define enterprise routing, IPAM, segmentation, and trust boundary strategies
• Advance security with Zero Trust, encryption, and firewall policies
• Ensure resiliency with high availability across regions and AZs
• Define IaC for provisioning using Terraform and Ansible
• Establish network observability, telemetry, and troubleshooting
• Govern architectures with standards and security requirements
• Provide technical leadership to cloud, network, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps teams
• Evaluate new technologies to improve scalability and automation
• Create architecture documentation and knowledge transfer materials
