The Director liaises among partners, clients, and staff to manage multiple engagements, staff development, and new business initiatives. The incumbent will oversee engagement planning, partner discussions, and ensure deliverables meet applicable

Qualifications

• 10+ years in public accounting with governance sector focus.
• CPA license and a Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Ability to travel to client and firm locations.
• Experience leading engagements and developing staff.
• Proven ability to bring in new business in the public sector.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client relationships and oversee multiple engagements.
• Serve as engagement partner or report to partner.
• Sign attest opinions as engagement partner when assigned.
• Oversee engagement work to ensure compliance with GAAP and policies.
• Develop staff and provide on-the-job training.
• Participate in recruitment and staff evaluations.
• Lead business development and client meetings.
• Ensure billing and collections per firm policy.
