Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a team member to perform food preparation and maintain the cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars. You will ensure quality, proper labeling, dating, and rotation, while delivering courteous and efficient service to customers and Team Members.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Adherence to health, safety, and company SOPs is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food items for the cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars according to production sheets.
• Prepares items according to recipe to ensure quality and consistency.
• Labels, dates, covers, monitors quality and freshness, and rotates items.
• Monitors food levels and replenishes in a timely manner.
• Provides excellent customer service and supports suggestive selling.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking and merchandising.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards across the department.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and ensures pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and follows company procedures.
