Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Jackson, Mississippi is seeking a Prepared Foods Team Member to support cold case, salad, and hot bars. You will follow recipes, label and date items, and ensure freshness and proper rotation, while delivering friendly, efficient service to customers and Team Members.

Responsibilities include stocking, merchandising, opening/closing duties, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• 8-hour shifts with standing/walking for 6-8 hours.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and production sheets.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food items for cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars per production sheets.
• Prepares items per recipe to ensure quality and consistency.
• Labels, dates, covers, and rotates items; monitors freshness.
• Monitors stock levels and replenishes in a timely manner.
• Arrives on time; groomed; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, and merchandising.
• Follows health and sanitation procedures and safety rules.
• Keeps work area and equipment clean and organized.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; checks signage.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
