Job summary

Uncle Gs Management Corp. seeks a Pasta Clerk for its Pasta/Mozzarella Department. You will prepare fresh pasta, pack products, and merchandise to create outstanding customer experiences in a gourmet store setting.

The role involves producing pasta per recipes, weighing and packaging for various sales channels, and ensuring quality and cleanliness while following food safety standards and GMPs. Benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of pasta making experience.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Knowledge of packaging/production operations preferred.
• Trained in food safety and sanitation programs.
• Maintain department and inventory according to GMPs.

Responsibilities

• Accurately complete daily production batch and record entries.
• Make pasta products following company recipes and standards.
• Weigh and package pasta for freezer or refrigerator sales.
• Perform quality control for all packaging and/or production operations.
• Handle pasta inventory with care to avoid damage.
• Inspect appearance of finished product to meet specs.
• Monitor code date, label, seal integrity, and product quality.
• Maintain a neat and clean workspace.
• Operate department equipment for pasta production.
• Other duties as assigned.
